Putting out the effort and additional planning for V2 makes for a 300% better product.

This video came at the request of the main character. He first made his own video, and it was a big hit. But, of course, there was some room for improvement including tightening the script and shortening the overall video length. I helped with the script revision, filming, and video editing. This was filmed at the business location in Santa Clara, California.

What I learned

In the action shots, I used a gimbal stabilizer for the camera. It was the first time I set it up – my husband did it every time before. I had to FaceTime him for instructions the night before the shoot, but I can do it on my own now! HA!

What I'd do differently

More b-roll! ALWAYS! It’s so easy to get caught up in the shots and getting the words, angle or lighting just right. Every 20 minutes or so, it’s important to exhale and take a step backward – take a minute to think outside the meat of the project.
